I HATE GOD
I Hate God I hate God. I hear this all the time. One thing I NEVER hear is, “I hate satan!” God didn’t do it, whatever ‘It’ may be! EVERYTHING that is the opposite of good that has happened in your life came from or was caused by satan (which you can put a stop to). Now you’re probably asking, “Why did God allow it?” I’m glad you asked… but don’t get upset with my answer until after I’ve explained. God didn’t allow it, you did. Whenever God speaks it becomes law. Whether physical, natural or spiritual it becomes law. Like gravity or sowing & reaping. When God created man, God SAID, “Let man have dominion over the earth and over every creeping thing, (even satan) etc., etc.” That became law. Man ruled the earth until Adam, the representitive of mankind, committed high treason against God which turned over his (mans) rulership to satan. So God sent a second Adam (Jesus) Who came and stripped the devil of his rulership over the earth and gave it back to man. Now if man doesn’t read his mail, that’s what the Bible is: Letters from God explaining to man what’s going on and how to react. If man doesn’t read his mail he is not going to know how to react. Kind of like a soldier refusing to open a telegram from his commanding officer explaining where the enemy is and that he is the next target. The enemy will come and wreck havoc on that soldier and his troops. If you say I hate God it's because you don't know God. If you don’t have a relationship with God and you don’t know that you have authority over the devil then the enemy is going to come and go and do as he pleases. He may fire upon you with a cold or fever. He may drop a bomb of sickness or disease. You see, prayer is giving God permission to intervene, a license to interfere but you have to stay in continual contact with the Commander-n-Chief. You can’t just send a message every once in awhile when you come under attack. And get mad and say I hate God. God WILL operate but He wants you to co-operate. This is what’s called a relationship. God wants an ongoing relationship not religion, God hates religion! Religion is man-made inspired by satan. If you notice, every time Jesus got upset it was when the religious leaders came and confronted Him. Let me say it again, God hates religion. He wants a relationship and God will operate but he wants you to co-operate. A relationship with co-operation is when you ask your dad to fix your bike and he asks you to help. I’ll get to the point. When Jesus raised Lazerous from the dead, first he asked the people to remove the stone in front of the cave. Now, if you could raise the dead couldn’t you also move a rock? Jesus put mud on a blindmans eyes and then asked him to go wash the mud off. Jesus fed five thousand but first He asked the people to give Him what they had. Jesus turned water into wine but first He asked the men to fill the pitchers. Do you get the picture? God wants you to be a part of what ever He does. That’s what you call a relationship but first you have to co-operate! In a relationship you have to find out what the other Individual likes and dislikes. It just so happens that this other Individual dislikes sin. We can knock this wall down real quick and get the relationship moving. I know sin sounds like a powerful word but it only means “missing the mark.” When an archer shoots an arrow and doesn’t hit the bullseye, he missed the mark. We are all born with a sinful nature, so during our lifetime, there are no if, and, or buts about it we are going to miss the mark. In the Old Testament Israel would sacrifice a lamb once a year to cover their sins. In the New Testament God sent Jesus (the Lamb of God) to wash away our sins and the whole worlds, forever. That’s good news and that’s what the word gospel means, good news. The Lamb of God took our sins and in exchange gave us Gods righteousness and righteousness means “right standing.” Being in right standing with God is a free gift. You receive this free gift from God by grace (God’s favor) through faith (taking God at His Word). Basically, God said it, I believe it and that settles it! Now… getting back to the subject at hand. When a person says, I hate God! it’s because they don’t understand that the natural laws governing the earth today came into being with the fall of man, when Adam and Eve sinned and the earth was cursed. And because people don’t understand these laws, many say I hate God for causing accidents, sickness and death of loved ones and such catastrophes as storms, earthquakes and floods. Even insurance companies call natural disasters “acts of God,” but they are not acts of God at all! God is not the responsible for any of these things nor is He the author of any of them. God is not the author of death. Accidents, disease, sickness, death and disasters come as the result of the fall of man. Their author is satan. A preacher once said, “Disease is the foul offspring of its father, satan and its mother Sin.” (I couldn’t of said it any better!) As I mentioned above, God sent a second Adam (Jesus) Who came and stripped the devil of his rulership over the earth and gave it back to man. The Son of God stripped satan of his authority and gave it back to us. Now, it is up to you and me to exercise that authority. COL. 2:15 Having disarmed principalities and powers, He (Jesus) made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it (the cross). LUKE 10:19 Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Spiritual authority is much like natural authority. Policemen who direct traffic during rush hour just raise their hands and cars stop. These men don’t have the physical power to stop the vehicles if the drivers choose not to stop. But they don’t use their own strength to stop traffic. They are strong in the authority invested in them by the government they serve. People recognize that authority and stop. There’s authority vested in us by the Lord Jesus Christ! EPHESIANS 6:10 …be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might (not yours). LUKE 10:17 …Lord, even the demons are subject to us… LUKE 10:20 …the spirits are subject to you… People who say, I hate God. Don’t know God. People who blame God, should blame satan People who get mad at God, should get mad at the devil… Instead of saying I hate God... ...use your authority.
